Ms. Phuong Minh Hue, General Director of Viet Phuong Group, said that a project of high quality low-iron quartz sand, quartz powder (Hue Premium Silica) was launched to orient the development of Hue brand of low sand products. High-quality iron is a necessary condition to attract domestic and foreign investors to develop the silica industry as well as exploit the province's advantages.

According to Ms. Phuong Minh Hue, this will be the first processing plant of the product line of low quality iron sand, quartz powder in Vietnam, using European technology. The first phase products of the plant will supply businesses producing ultra-white glass and solar battery glass in the country.

The factory has a total investment of about 840 billion dong; capacity of 345,000 tons of products / year with EU technology line; The land use area of ​​the project is 6.7 ha in Bac Trieu Vinh village, Phong Hien commune, Phong Dien district.

“Up to now, Viet Phuong Group has invested more than VND 400 billion in the project, including signed technology equipment packages ... and is expected to continue investing more than VND 440 billion to By the first quarter of 2021, the factory will be put into operation, in time to welcome the 13th National Party Congress ", Ms. Hue shared.

At the survey trip, Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho emphasized that this is a project of special significance in the current period, a bright spot for the province's industrial sector. Therefore, the investor and construction units are requested to ensure the project construction progress in the direction of both ensuring the safety of the work quality, and protecting the surrounding landscape and environment.

Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho also requested Phong Dien district authorities to coordinate with relevant departments, agencies and branches to remove difficulties and obstacles to support enterprises in the construction process, accelerate project progress early. went into operation to make contributions to the economic development of the province.
